A lustrous silk satin with a 'shine' finish, crafted in Italy. Duchess satin, is sometimes referred to as 'Princess Satin', and is perfect for an elegantly structured garment such as a couture gown - we love the idea of a fitted bodice framed with a sweetheart neckline and underpinned with flattering boning, falling into a full mini or maxi skirt with pockets, softly gathered and pleated along an empire waistline. The luxurious weight of the fabric makes it drape beautifully.
