No orders will be dispatched on UK bank holidays and weekends.

EU & International customers can track their parcels at https://www.dhl.com/gb-en/home/tracking.html by entering the parcel number which will be made aware to you when your order is dispatched.

We also offer European and International delivery. For international deliveries, we allocate a courier which we believe will deliver your order to you most efficiently depending on your destination. You will be notified by email of the progress of your shipment by the courier or transit company.

*If your destination is outside the United Kingdom (For Northern Ireland, please refer to the Windsor Framework), you are liable for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; therefore payment will be required by customs to release your order. We recommend that you investigate potential charges before placing your order, as different countries have variable procedures. We cannot take responsibility for any charges, fees or duties and do not accept returns or do refunds relating to this. By accepting our site terms and conditions in the checkout when placing your order, you are agreeing to the above.

Please note every order is personally inspected by a member of the Joel & Son Fabrics team before dispatch to ensure it meets our quality standards. While we make every effort to accurately represent our products, colours shown on the Website may vary depending on your screen or device settings and should be regarded as an approximation of the actual product.

It is not possible to return or exchange fabrics or trimmings that have been ordered and cut to your individual specification. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All non-fabric products, including gift cards, buttons, and dressmaking accessories, may be returned for a refund within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in perfect resalable condition, and returned in their original packaging where applicable.

If a return is accepted, the returned item(s) must be sent back to Joel & Son Fabrics at your cost unless otherwise agreed. Returned item(s), together with any complimentary gifts supplied with the order, must be received by us and pass our quality control inspection before any refund is issued.

Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s). Where applicable, any refund will include the original delivery charges in accordance with your statutory rights.

As fabrics and trimmings are cut specifically to your requested length, we recommend purchasing a 1 metre length first if you are unsure of your selection.

Alternatively, you are welcome to visit our store, where our experienced team can assist you and provide fabric samples where available.

All orders will be sent with DHL or a courier of our choice and will require a signature or receipt. Your goods will be delivered within 5–7 working days FROM the day of dispatch. We aim to deliver your order within the timeframe stated on our website. However, on occasion there may be delays that are beyond our reasonable control, including those caused by our approved third-party couriers, adverse weather conditions, transport disruption, customs procedures, public holidays, or deliveries to remote or rural locations where courier services may operate less frequently or have limited driver availability.
