We reserve, at our absolute discretion the right to vary these Conditions of Use and any other policies upon which the site is to be used. As such, we suggest that you consult our site periodically as we reserve the right to update this policy at any given time. Please note however, that your use of the site will be deemed to mean that you have accepted whatever Condition of Use prevail at the time as such usage of the website is implying that you accept the basis upon which we want our website used.

The contents of this website are intended for the sole purpose of promoting and selling our products and services.

Please note that when using the Joel & Son website we will do our utmost to ensure that all personal information be kept private and confidential and at no point will Joel & Son Fabrics willingly share this information with any third parties.

Any Terms and Conditions concerning the use of this website will be governed by the laws of England and any dispute concerning use of this website will be determined by the Courts of England.

Whilst we take all the necessary steps to exclude viruses from this website, we may not be able to guarantee that such attempts will be successful and therefore will not accept liability for such viruses. We recommend that you take all the safeguards necessary before downloading information from our website or any other website.

The Customer shall pay us for the Service in full and shall pay all applicable VAT and other taxes imposed on charges for services made under the agreement. If your shipping destination is outside of the United Kingdom, you will be liable for ALL import duties, customs, and local sales taxes imposed by the country you are shipping to; therefore, payment will be required by customs to release your order. We recommend that you investigate potential charges before placing your order, as different countries have variable procedures. We cannot take responsibility for any charges, fees or duties and do not accept returns & refunds relating to your order. By accepting our terms and conditions during checkout you are agreeing to the above.

Please see the Delivery Information page for details of delivery times depending on your location. We will arrange for delivery of the products and aim to deliver your order by the timing for your selected delivery method. Delivery & shipping rates are subject to change at any time. We strive to reach dispatch deadlines as quoted on our Delivery Information page. Once an order has been dispatched we cannot take any responsibility for a delay in shipment. This responsibility falls on the selected courier which will be made known to you in the Confirmation of Dispatch e-mail. Please note, orders placed after 11:00 am on Fridays may not be dispatched the following Monday. No orders will be dispatched on weekends or UK Bank Holidays.
Ownership of the Product(s) you order shall pass in accordance with these Terms of Sale, in the United Kingdom (where the contract for the sale of Product is concluded). The ownership of the Products ordered will pass to you the moment we dispatch the Products to you (provided that you have made full payment of the Order price plus delivery charges and any other charges payable under these Terms of Sale, as applicable). You, therefore, need to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, payable taxes, duties or local administration charges and rules of the country into which you import the Product(s).

When placing an order, the order confirmation e-mail is an acknowledgement of your order and not of fulfilment or dispatch.

Delivery and shipping rates are subject to change at any time. We strive to reach dispatch deadlines as quoted on our Delivery Information page. Once an order has been dispatched we cannot take responsibility for a delay in shipment. This responsibility falls on the selected courier which will be made known to you in the Confirmation of Dispatch e-mail.

We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if placed before 12 pm. Please note, orders placed after 11 am on Fridays will be dispatched the following Monday. No orders will be dispatched on weekends or UK Bank Holidays.

We reserve the right to charge a second shipment fee if the information you have provided on your order is not correct and we / or we or our courier company has been unable to get in touch with you to complete the initial shipment resulting in a returned order.

Prices and availability of all of our products and services advertised on this website are subject to change at any time. Whilst we try to ensure that all details, descriptions & prices which appear on this website are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in price of any goods you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it.

Whilst we take all the necessary steps to keep the information on this website up to date, the content is provided by way of information only and will need to be confirmed at time of enquiry. In the event of any discrepancy, it is the latter, which shall prevail. The information and materials contained on our website are provided without guarantee.

Joel & Son Fabrics reserves the right, at any given time, to remove a product or service.

In the unlikely event that an order placed by the customer is unavailable or damaged, we reserve the right to give the customer a full refund. In this situation the customer will be notified by e-mail/phone call.

All our product prices are inclusive of VAT.
We reserve the right to refuse or cut a minimum quantity of any printed item from our website at any time during a transaction.
We reserve the right to refuse an order if we suspect any fraudulent activity.
Shipping charges may fluctuate based on changing fuel prices however customers will be made aware of this prior to completing their purchase.

Fabrics are subject to availability and stock levels change on an hourly basis.

Please note that although we have taken all possible steps to ensure that the product images are representative of the product as best as possible, colours may vary according to settings on your screen and therefore can only be an approximation of the actual product. Please note that colour variations may occur between different batches and/or rolls of fabric.

Any 'catwalk' images that appear on product pages are solely for illustrative purposes only and may show a design with fabric similar in quality and/or colour of the fabric listed. Catwalk photos do not represent the same fabric but a similar fabric.

To avoid any disappointment, we strongly encourage you to purchase a minimum quantity of 1m of the desired fabric before ordering it in a specified length. It will give a true representation of the colour, texture, pattern, weight and handle of a fabric. 

We may wish to monitor your use of the Joel & Son Fabrics website for the purpose of identifying which products and/or services may be of interest to you and therefore informing you of such promotions and inventory changes.

It is not possible to return or exchange fabrics or trimmings that have been ordered and cut to your specification. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you believe your item is damaged, please contact customer service on our help portal here: info@joelandsonfabrics.com

All non-fabric/trimming goods may be returned for refund within 14 days of receipt if in perfect re-saleable condition. On the occasion where a refund is accepted, the returned item/s must be sent back to us at your cost & will not be refunded until the item/s are returned to us, complete with any free gift, and have passed quality control.

Any refunds owed to you under these Terms of Sale shall be processed and shall be paid to you using the same method used to pay and within 14 days of the earlier of the date that we receive the relevant products back from you.

Unfortunately, as all fabrics & trimmings are cut to your individual specification, they cannot be returned (exceptions apply). Please see our Returns Policy for further information.

To register with joelandsonfabrics.com you must be over 18 years of age and you must ensure that the details you have provided are fact and complete at the time of registration.

All goods sold during a sale/promotion are subject to the applicable promotional period only. Due to the high volume of orders during sale/promotional periods, it may take longer than usual to receive your order.

All sale and promotional start and end times are based on UK local time (Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or British Summer Time (BST), as applicable).

All orders placed through the Website are subject to acceptance by Joel & Son Fabrics.

We reserve the right to:

An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed only when your order has been dispatched.

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel any order where pricing errors have occurred.

6. Delivery

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Joel & Son Fabrics is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Customs clearance
• Adverse weather
• Industrial action
• Events beyond our reasonable control
• Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, fabrics and trimmings that have been cut or prepared to your individual specification cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or where otherwise required by applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Non-fabric products, including gift cards, buttons, and dressmaking accessories, may be returned for a refund within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in their original packaging (where applicable), and in a resalable condition.

Where a return is accepted, the item(s) must be returned to Joel & Son Fabrics at the customer's expense unless otherwise agreed. Returned items must include any complimentary gifts supplied with the order and will be subject to inspection upon receipt. Refunds will only be processed once the returned goods have successfully passed our quality control checks.

Any approved refund will be made using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item(s).
