A luxurious and glossy silk fabric, ideal for an elegant couture gown. This is the 'Rolls Royce' of satins and is sometimes referred to as 'Princess Satin'. Duchess satin has a firmer handle and is perfect for a garment with a bias cut or simple bodice, underpinned with flattering boning and falling into a softly gathered and pleated mini or midi skirt with pockets. The luxurious weight of the fabric makes it drape in the most beautiful way. This fabric can also be used in combination with velvet fabric.
All orders are inspected and delivered to you in perfect condition.
As fabrics and trimmings are cut to your specification, orders are non-refundable once cut. Accessories (cufflinks & buttons) may be returned for refund within 14 days of receipt if in perfect re-saleable condition
