  1. Ralph and Russo Show - Paris Couture Fashion Week

Ralph and Russo Show - Paris Couture Fashion Week

This week I visited Paris for the Paris Haute Couture SS14 closing show, Ralph and Russo.

Now this was actually a historic show as it was the first British brand that has officially been welcomed to the show schedule in over 100 years.

Tamara Ralph and Micahel Russo founded the label in 2007 and pride themselves on working with very high profile celebrities like Angelina Jolie, and designing the stage costumes for Beyoncé’s concerts.

Ralph and Russo are not like your traditional couture house. Instead of the heavy 4 to 6 month waiting period you would normally wait for a couture dress, Ralph and Russo will have your dress completed with 4 to 6 weeks! When there handpicked group of courtiers clock out in the evenings the night shift team of couturiers clock in to carry on work on each one of a kind couture gown.

    Golden Globes 2014

As the first big awards show of 2014, the Golden Globes are quite an important event in the world of Hollywood A-listers. Not only are they a reliable indicator of who may or may not be in with a chance at becoming an Oscars winner in March, but they are also a fabulous indicator of who knows how to dress.

Take a look at our favourite outfits from this years Golden Globes.

Lupita, the 12 Years A Slave actress, wore a stunning silk crêpe caped gown from Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2014 collection in a very flattering coral colour.
