This dressmaking fabric is a lightweight and extremely fine man-made netting. A hexagon shaped weave, similar to honeycomb, tulle can be made from various fibers, such as nylon, rayon or silk.

Originating from the City of Tulle, Southern France, back in the early 1700's, tulle became commonly used to accentuate a fuller skirt and provide a lacy, floaty look.

Most commonly used for wedding veils and wedding gowns, undershirts and costumes - is widely available in a variety of colours.  Buy tulle fabric and dressmaking fabrics through our online shop where we offer free delivery on orders over £200 to the UK. Please note prices shown are per metre unless otherwise specified.
