Always a key print in womenswear fashion, floral has had a huge impact on Menswear fashion for Spring/Summer 2014. I might be jumping the gun a bit here, but while it's summery (ish) why not start contemplating the concept of roses and tulips. Designers have been dabbling lightly in the idea for a while now, giving men's fashion a gentle introduction, before diving in head first with their latest collections which were inundated with flower prints.
The bigger the floral print, the more on trend this season, however if you don't feel comfortable just yet with the idea, choose a print with a dark background or a colour that you are fond of and know will look good on you. If you are embracing floral but not sure how to wear it, mix it up with something tough - black jeans and Chelsea boots. So the question is, are flowers likely to take root in your wardrobe?
We love this photoshoot for the New York Times Style Magazine where photographer, Matthew Kristall and model Yannick Abrath, used New York's vibrant Chinatown as a backdrop for this colourful floral print shoot.
