There’s no question about it – sometimes showing off some serious skin is sexy. And it seems as though Jason Wu’s Resort 2014 collection is no stranger to this realisation. His collection includes a series of embroidered tulle dresses that, although lend themselves to modesty in their silhouettes (all below the knee with high neck lines), are in fact far from it – for all his models wore nothing but nude underwear beneath them.
We’re sure that those perfectly sculpted amongst you who are reading this now are jumping for joy, but for those of us who aren’t quite willing to jump on the rather revealing bandwagon (and quite frankly are just feeling too cold in this weather to even consider it), there is an alternative & equally seductive option. It’s called…nude lining. Yes, true simplicity & true genius, if you ask us! To recreate a more modest Jason Wu look, simply choose an embroidered lace or tulle, and back with a silk satin to match your skin tone.
