8 London Tailoring Brands Rocking Pinterest Right Now!

Pinterest has taken the fashion industry by storm, offering a brilliant inspiration platform that has garnered a huge following of shopper friendly individuals and trendsetters. Because of this, brands are now seeing the benefits of being found on the platform, with research suggesting that customers spend more money (£47.53 on average) when they convert from a Pinterest referral than any other social referral.

Stats aside, we have taken a look into some of our respected tailoring neighbours in London making the most of this platform to see what they are doing well and why you should follow them for great fashion inspiration:

Huntsman

A suit maker with a classic feel, Huntsman’s Pinterest is all about beautiful tailored suits that offer a traditional feel. Their boards predominantly cover suit fashion for the season, but also look at celebrity fashion, the business itself and even some cheeky Movember shots! We also love the behind-the-scenes stuff that really humanises the brand to its customers.

 Edward Sexton

Edward Sexton offers bespoke tailoring for men and women and their Pinterest page exemplifies this, with style boards for men and woman and a board for the “Sexton Look”, as well as an Accessories and Men’s Archive board, featuring famous suits seen through the decades. We also love how the man himself Edward features in so many press shots - a man rightly proud of his wares.

Nutters

Established by the late great Tommy Nutter in 1969, Nutters has a long history in creating stunning suits and their Pinterest board shows the best of the best, with Bond, The Beatles and Tommy himself gracing the page. A little pin-light but we'll take quality over quantity any day.

 Gresham Blake

Stepping away from the traditional, Gresham Blake takes classic suits and adds a modern flair. Their Pinterest page shows off their quirky flair with lots of brightly styled suits as well as style-matched accessories, music, art and even films!

 Duchamp London

Specialising in modern dandy styling’s, Duchamp London’s Pinterest page is all about soft pastels, bold primaries and how to make them work. Boards cover new arrivals, accessories and footwear, as well as cars, interior design and travel.

 Alexanders of London

Venturing into casual wear as well as suits, Alexanders of London’s Pinterest has a more relaxed vibe, with boards on current stock, styling looks and current trends.

 Thomas Pink

Bright and young, Thomas Pink works perfectly with Pinterest, offering a youthful, fun atmosphere with boards covering everything from how to rock the colour pink and the brand’s fox mascot to women’s wear and wedding styling.

 Hemmingway Tailors

Known for their bespoke made-to-order shirts and accessories, Hemmingway Tailors are all about classic looks. Their Pinterest replicates this traditional feel with boards on men’s and women’s tailoring, inspirational pins and quotes, shop creations, accessories and more.

 Joel & Son Fabrics

And while we’re at it, we can’t forget our own Pinterest! Our boards include "Our Shop" where you can learn a little bit more about us, "Suit Inspiration" which does exactly what it says on the tin and our "Fabric of the Day" which we will be updating with trendy new threads, the latest Liberty prints and our favourite faux furs!
