Spots & Polka Dots

Every fashion week we feast our eyes on hundreds of looks and outfits as we identify the top trends for the upcoming season. One trend that cannot be overlooked this Spring/Summer is the polka dot.

Large or small, colour or monochrome, there is no denying that polka dots have made a comeback and as soon as the first signs of Spring approach we'll definitely be dotting up our wardrobes!

Here are our favourite spotty and polka dotty ensembles for Spring/Summer 2017.

80'S THROWBACK

Carolina Herrera's flirty & feminine polka dot tulle dress is a true nod to 80's fashion & turns up the fun with layers & layers of petticoat tulle. The irregular distribution of the polka dot design gives a modern twist as classic 80's style polka dots are typically evenly spread.

MODERN EVENING EDITION

Multi coloured polka dot on white organza - probably not the first fabric that springs to mind for your evening dress! But Zac Posen teaches us that what you do with your fabric is just as important as the fabric itself in creating a show stopping dress. With a clean cut overturned yoke and a majestic princess-style skirt, this is a true modern polka dot look.
