Chanel set sail last night, literally.
All the stops were pulled out in the halls of the Grand Palais as Karl Largerfeld presented this year's cruise collection, a concept originally invented by Coco Chanel of showing a collection outside the seasonal catwalk schedule back in 1919.

Known for their fabulous runways, Chanel did not disappoint constructing a 5624 square meter Cruise in the middle of the catwalk.
The ship named La Pausa in homage of Coco Chanels holiday home in the French Riviera was incredible, like the magnificent set. The fashion collection was of course utterly breathtaking too.
Plenty of looks to get you French Riviera ready with a lot of classic tweeds, lots of beautifully constructed jackets and double-breasted bouclé suits paired nicely with bouclé skirts, and accessories galore.
Nautical fashion truly reinvented.

Long live Karl, the man who mastered nautical couture.
