The Met Gala – another excuse for the A-listers to get dressed to the nines and another excuse for us to swoon over their perfectly preened and custom-made couture outfits.
So we’ve sifted through all the dresses of the ‘Comme des Garçons’ themed event to share with you our favourite looks from this year’s Met Gala.
LILY-ROSE DEPP
Lily-Rose wore a shocking pink organza dress with floral detail by Chanel. For us, this look wins for prettiness. The colour & silhouette did everything to accentuate her skin tone and delicate physique.

MIRANDA KERR
Miranda wore a fifties style Oscar de la Renta full skirted gown. Made from brocade/cloqué fabric - stiff enough to hold that full-skirted silhouette - she exuded an almost Audrey Hepburn aura.

ELLE FANNING
Elle looked like a modern grecian goddess in a sky blue chiffon dress by Miu Miu. The white lining gives a two-tone effect that we can see here.

TAYLOR HILL
Taylor looked just stunning in a Carolina Herrera burgundy silk taffeta strapless gown, with a modern angular neckline and train.

ANNA WINTOUR
The Vogue editor-in-chief wore a Chanel dress designed by Karl Lagerfeld comprising of sequinned tulle and feathers in baby yellow.
That's it for our favourites this year. We hope we've provided some inspiration for your next evening event!
