Bafta's you did it again...a night full of fun, laughter, tears and of course drama. And that was only in the dressing rooms! What an array of delightful (and delinquent) attire.
We're not going to concentrate on the fashion 'faux pas' that filled the red carpet this year but have a look at those who got it right. Black was still a safe leader, but the pastels and brights made an appearance nevertheless.
Take the ever coveted Sienna Miller, who as always, didn't disappoint in this cute 50's inspired powder blue dress by Matthew Williamson. Teamed with the 'oh so popular' Perspex Clutch, she looked every bit 'The Girl'!

Despite the typical English weather - Floral also made an appearance thanks to Shakespearean actress Kate Fleetwood. Not her usual 'period' costume but it certainly brightened up a somewhat dreary damp evening.

Lace was a popular choice of the evening too with Claudia Winkleman's monochrome bodycon.
But for me the award goes to Jenni Falconer, one of the Queens of Morning TV, adding a splash of elegance in a nude floor length lace Alberta Ferretti gown. Not too figure hugging, not too daring and perfectly finished off with a stunning pair of Art Deco drop earrings.

But we cant leave out the gentlemen of the evening who without them the term 'dinner suit' just wouldn't mean a thing.
Damian Lewis, who recently resided in Los Angeles, bought a bit of Hollywood to the Southbank in this Burberry Prorsum evening suit.

And we couldn't leave out his 'partner in crime' David Harewood, who together with those square shades is every thing but in this shawl collared dinner suit!

All in all the Television Bafta's 2013 was every inch the entertainer and as always has us wondering...what will they think of next year!
