Summer’s here! The sun's out, the barbecues are on and the Pimms is ready for sipping. Our favourite part about summer is, of course, the fashion. This season it’s all about the 'fun, flirty and feminine dress'. That's very open to interpretation, and we love how different designers have their own take on it. Burbery Prorsum’s lightweight lace dresses were made fun and feminine by a balance between layered fabric and a short hemline. A true nod to femininity.
Dolce & Gabbana introduced some stunning mid-calf length, full volume dresses in fabulous prints. Using silk mikado, also known as zibeline, a fabric which is perfect for creating volume and lustre.
Elie Saab made use of our favourite fabric of the moment – macramé printed lace. With a fabric as fabulous as this, only a simple cut is needed fox maximum impact. Let the fabric speak for itself.
