Situated in a beautiful green valley, Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino creates fabrics using top-quality yarns, which it creates by sourcing the best raw materials from around the world; these include vicuña & alpaca from South America, the finest merino & Australian wools, Mongolian cashmere, mohair, linen and exquisite blends of precious silks from China. These raw materials are passed through an exclusive manufacturing process, using ancient weaving traditions that result in some of the most luxurious suiting fabrics available.
The company is furthermore renowned for creating the iconic 17-micron double twisted fabric collection which is synonymous with quality and elegance. Available in classic designs and colours, the 17-micron double twisted fabric range is ideal to complement the foundation of every modern man’s wardrobe.
Another collection includes the Solaro range, which was the first technical fabric created; it was made to protect British soldiers from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays during the conquests of the Imperial Century, which lasted from 1815 to 1914.

In 2011, Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino worked on a collaboration with Piana Clerico, a company specialising in gold processing for textile use. The partnership led to the birth of The Jewellery Collection textile range, where the finest wools were mixed with 24 carat gold, to produce suiting fabrics that took the idea of luxury and prestige to new heights.
The constant search for Fratelli Tallia di Delfino to renew itself and achieve new standards of successes while honouring its origins of quality raw materials and meticulous production process resulted in the company becoming an ambassador of the respected 'MADE IN ITALY' taste and style which is widely recognised throughout the world.
In 2013 and 2016, Fratelli Tallia di Delfino won the ‘No. 1 Fabric Award’ from Saks Fifth Avenue in collaboration with The Woolmark Company - a prestigious award offered each season to commend the finest wool fabrics from the world’s premiere textile mills. A tough competition, with over 3 dozen manufacturers entering their products, the fabrics submitted are evaluated on composition, construction, weight, hand-finish, cosmetic appearance, comfort and value.
In 2021, the DEFENDER collection was launched on the back of Covid-19, the cloth manufactured now included anti-viral, water repellent and natural stretch qualities while still being breathable. These fabrics received a lasting treatment at Polygiene in Sweden, remaining active during the fabrics lifetime and guaranteeing the range of DEFENDER fabrics eliminated 99% of viruses within a short time.
